Safedox Terms of Service

1. Services

Safedox provides software that enables users to generate health and safety documentation by entering information into online forms and document generators.

Safedox provides a technology platform only. Safedox does not provide legal, regulatory, engineering, or professional health and safety advice.

2. No professional advice

All documents generated through Safedox are:

• Based solely on the information provided by the user
• Automatically generated using standardised templates and logic
• Provided for general guidance purposes only

Documents generated through Safedox do not constitute:

• Legal advice
• Regulatory approval
• Certification
• Professional safety advice

The user is responsible for determining whether any document is suitable, accurate, complete and compliant for their business and work activities.

3. User responsibilities

The user is responsible for:

• Ensuring all information entered into Safedox is accurate, complete and current
• Reviewing all generated documents before use
• Ensuring documents are appropriate for the specific workplace, tasks and risks
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations and contractual obligations

Safedox is not responsible for errors, omissions or non-compliance arising from incorrect, incomplete or misleading information entered by the user.

4. Accounts

Users must create an account to access Safedox.

The user is responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of their login details
• All activity conducted under their account

Safedox is not responsible for unauthorised access caused by the user’s failure to protect their account credentials.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe.

All prices are displayed on the Safedox website and are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.

Fees are generally non-refundable once a document token has been issued or a document has been generated, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Safedox may change pricing at any time.

6. Intellectual property

Safedox owns all rights in:

• The platform
• Templates
• Software
• Design
• Document generation logic

Users own the documents they generate but do not acquire any ownership rights in the Safedox system or templates.

Users may not copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, reverse engineer or exploit the Safedox platform or templates.

7. Data and deletion

Users may delete their account at any time through the account settings.

Deletion permanently removes:

• Account data
• Generated documents
• Business information
• Uploaded files

Deleted data cannot be recovered.

8. Service availability

Safedox does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform.

Safedox may suspend, modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safedox is not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from or related to:

• Use of the platform
• Use of generated documents
• Business operations
• Regulatory or contractual compliance
• Workplace incidents
• Financial loss
• Data loss

If Safedox is found liable for any claim, total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user to Safedox in the preceding 12 months.

10. Indemnity

The user agrees to indemnify Safedox against any claim, liability, loss or damage arising from:

• Use of the platform
• Use of any generated document
• Business activities
• Failure to comply with applicable laws

11. Termination

Safedox may suspend or terminate an account if these Terms are breached or if the platform is used unlawfully.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
