Safedox is a trading name of AL & JP Pty Ltd (ABN 27 617 956 215).

We operate from Perth, Western Australia.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal and business information when you use the Safedox website and document generation platform.

Safedox provides online tools that help businesses create health and safety documentation. To do that properly, we need to collect and process certain information. We take that responsibility seriously.

1. What information we collect

We collect information in two categories.

Account information (mandatory)

To create and use a Safedox account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password

This is required to provide secure access to your account.

Business and document data (optional but expected)

If you use our document generators, you may choose to store:

  • Business name
  • ABN
  • Address
  • Logo
  • Names of people
  • Health & safety information about your business
  • Data entered into forms, templates and document builders

This information is used to generate your documents and to allow you to save and reuse business details across projects.

2. Why we collect this information

We collect and use your information only to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Generate, store and manage your documents
  • Pre-populate templates using your saved business data
  • Process payments
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain security and prevent misuse
  • Improve and operate the Safedox platform

We do not sell or rent your data.

We do not use it for advertising profiling.

3. Where your data is stored

Safedox stores all account and business data using Supabase, a third-party cloud platform.

Your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in Tokyo, Japan.

This means your data is stored outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure Supabase handles data in a way that is consistent with Australian privacy standards.

4. Payments

Payments on Safedox are processed by Stripe.

Safedox does not store your credit card details. Stripe handles all payment information in accordance with its own security and privacy standards.

5. Emails

Safedox uses Resend to send transactional emails such as:

  • Account verification
  • Password resets
  • System notifications

Your email address is shared with Resend only for the purpose of sending these messages.

6. Analytics

Safedox does not currently use analytics or tracking tools.

In the future, we may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand how users interact with the site. This may involve collecting:

  • IP address
  • Device and browser information
  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on the site

If enabled, this data will be used only to improve the platform.

7. Who we share information with

We only share data with:

  • Supabase (database and authentication services)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Analytics providers if enabled in the future
  • Government or regulators if legally required

We do not provide your data to marketing agencies, advertisers or data brokers.

8. Your right to access your data

You may request a copy of all personal and business data we hold about you at any time by contacting hello@safedox.com.au.

We will aim to respond within 3 to 5 business days.

9. Your right to delete your data

You can permanently delete your Safedox account from within your account settings.

When you do this:

  • Your account
  • All generated documents
  • All business data
  • All stored files and logos

are permanently erased.

This action cannot be undone.

10. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted connections
  • Secure authentication
  • Cloud infrastructure managed by Supabase and AWS

No system is 100% immune to risk, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data from misuse, loss or unauthorised access.

11. Children and age

Safedox accounts may be used by people of any age.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to create an account and provide personal information.

12. Cookies

Safedox uses essential cookies to:

  • Keep you logged in
  • Maintain session security

Analytics cookies may be added in the future if Google Analytics or similar tools are enabled.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and publish the new version on the Safedox website.
